My Simple Woman's Daybook

FOR TODAY December 1, 2008
Outside my window...intermittent clouds and sun.

I am thinking...this is the day that the Lord has made and I shall rejoice and be glad in it :)

I am thankful for...my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who has promised to never leave me Nor forsake me because I am His and He is mine--FOREVER :) When I mess up Jesus is there to guide and comfort me as I realization that I have sinned against Him and Him alone. His forgiveness cost everything and my righteousness is but filthy rags but Jesus is there to take me to and through the pain of restoration every time. He has never left me on my own.

From the kitchen...the light is off so the dishes that long to be cleaned and put away--don't leap out and get me as I hurriedly pass by.
Time is ticking away faster than I can accomplish the needs of the day.

I am wearing...same ole comfy things :)

I am creating...a list of people to contact for HELP :)

I am going...Not going actually. I thought that I would be selling at another bazaar this week-end but I waited too long to get a table--I guess there is always next year or the Internet :)

I am reading...I am still trying to listen to the rest of the story actually. That story would be the 5 hour book on tape called "A Spirit of Martyrdom," Co-Authored by David Witt and Mujahid El Masih. They both work with Voice of the Martyrs. The book on CD contrasts Biblical martyrdom with Islamic martyrdom.

I am hoping...That the people that I contact to HELP! will respond quickly :) I will write a separate Post for that information :)

I am hearing...The gurgling fish tank and yes, my Wiggle Waggle herself snoring as she slumbers. As before I warn--never wake a sleeping Wiggle Waggle unless you want TROUBLE :)

Around the house...things are still hanging about waiting to be put away after Saturday's-Holiday Lane-bazaar since I thought that I would be at a bazaar again this week-end :)
At the bazaar I shared a spot with some very dear friends and waited and waited and waited for people to buy our handmade items. Well . . . I sold most all of the Angel ornaments and one very long-72"-tapestry table runner but no dolls were sold. Kinda disappointing even though I did not go expecting to get rich. We watched as people looked at everything and bought very little. I think everyone is full of fear over the economy. The Media really helps them to hang on to that fear. Fear corrupts our minds and bodies. It paralyzes us to the point of not being able to respond to life. I know because it is something that I have struggled with my whole life. That is getting into another Post so I will leave that thought and go forth :)

One of my favorite things...Rest! I mean the deep down settled in R E S T that is only found in spending time with Christ--and listening to a my favorite Pastor who's name starts with a T :)

A few plans for the rest of the week: Well since I am not going to do the bazaar there is always
H O U S E W O R K :)
House decorating for Christmas.
Besides my normal-taking good care of my honey-I will be spending a fair amount of time finding people to help with an urgent local Christmas matter that has come to my attention.
Did I mention . . . Y O U R H E L P I S N E E D E D??
Please stay tuned for the next blog post :)

Here is picture thought I am sharing...

Our dear little ~ Nana Couch Potato ~ who thinks furniture
was invented for her comfort :)
Now tell me, how can ya look into those-innocent loving-eyes
and be angry??

Blessing upon you all until next Monday's Daybook :)
